PADI Courses and Specialty Courses Taught By Dirk Peterson
As you can see, I teach a myriad of PADI courses. From fun, introductory courses for kids, like Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team; through the fundamental PADI courses of Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver, through the more exciting and challenging courses. As a Florida-based instructor, I offer the most popular PADI specialty courses.
I do almost all my teaching in the beautiful Florida Keys. It represents the third largest coral reef system in the world, has a multitude of diving experiences: fantastic opportunities to dive pristine and healthy reefs, to spearfish and lobster (seasonal), and to dive some of the most exciting wrecks in the United States.
I have an excellent professional working relationship with several dives shops and hotels in Key Largo and Marathon (Vaca Key) and it is through those shops that I teach these courses. I do not, however, work for any dive shop. I work for you. I utilize the dive shop only as a resource, to enhance your learning experience, and to set up the boat charter necessary to complete your confined water (pool) and open water dives.
I can, however, travel to you to teach the PADI course(s) you desire. This would require some lead time from you, and some planning on my part to set up the dive trip with your local dive shop.
I encourage you to visit the PADI website (www.padi.com) to learn more about the PADI education program. Their entire education program can be found here (http://www.padi.com/scuba/padi-courses/default.aspx).
Why PADI? Because they are recognized to have the very best diver training program in the world. Each course is desinged to be safe, fun and to integrate with all other PADI courses. PADI instructors are held to an extremely high standard and are required to follow specific guidelines to ensure the best training experience for each student. No matter where you travel in the world, you will find your PADI certification is recognized for its excellence!
